Mrs. Barbara Gross, a”h, was an integral and beloved member of the Cleveland Jewish community. Her life revolved around the pursuit of a myriad of avenues of chessed, acts of kindness. Wherever she saw a need, she invested time and effort to fill the gap, always with her signature care and sensitive touch. Barbara had a special gift for creative and artistic expression. She used these talents from Hashem to assist the community and individuals alike.
Bikur Cholim held a special place in Barbara’s heart.
For many years she was one of Bikur Cholim’s devoted, dedicated volunteers, visiting patients in local hospitals and providing an assortment of foods for distribution to patients and caregivers.
How fitting it is to perpetuate her deep commitment as a volunteer by creating the Barbara Gross Volunteer Program, which will enable Bikur Cholim to expand its volunteer base and increase engagement, helping this program grow.
